Small Moves

I recently contacted. Small Moves London (smallmoves.co.uk) to arrange for a small move. The head of the company John, gave me a quote and was happy to do the job. Then what happened next it the worst ever removal experience anyone could have.
On the day I was outside waiting for John who wasn't there. After ten minutes I texted him to find out if he was on his way but he didn't reply to my message. I decided to wait another twenty minutes in case he was running late. But still no call or no message. For the rest of that day I heard nothing from John explaining the no-show and he hadn't even bothered to contact me beforehand to let me know that he couldn't make it.
I tried calling him a couple of times that day but it went straight to voicemail and I left messages too. Days after John still hadn't bothered to contact me to explain and apologize for not showing. I was completely left in the dark and more importantly my stuff still hadn't been moved as planned.
For the past few weeks after that day I've called and left messages but just kept getting the voicemail. I've even left a message on his company website. But John didn't bother to contact me.
As I was getting nowhere with contacting John I decided to use my mate's phone to contact him and as I suspected he was avoiding my calls as he recognized my number. He picked up the call as he didn't recognize their number and started the spiel that he does about small moves and then I gave him my name and asked about his no-show and why he's failed to contact me. His reaction is proof enough that he isn't professional and not someone you should hire for any move. He shouted I was sick and ".. now you know". He even was cross that I've been calling him and leaving him messages to get back to me about what happened. Imagine a customer contacting a service provider after that person fails to provide a service and wanting to find out what happened. I was shocked he was surprised as to why I was contacting him to find out why HE failed to show up on the day of the move(??)
This has got to be the worst removals company; no-show, no calling on the day of the move to say he can't do the job, no reply to my calls/messages asking what is happening and rude to me when I understandably ask for an explanation as if he doesn't owe me one.

I've only ever used three removals before and this has got to be the worst by far. Avoid it please.

When I booked my removal job with smallmoves.co.uk it was the first time I had ever booked a removal job for new no one to turn up!
I booked job and the guy in charge, john, said he could do it. A few days before the job he messaged me to confirm with me if I still needed him to do the job. I replied back to confirm I still need the removal job done.
On the day of the removal no-one turned up at on the morning of the job and John hadn't called or messaged me to say what was wrong. After half an hour of waiting I called him and as I found out later he was deliberately avoiding my calls and texts asking what had happened. What made things worse was the fact that I'm a mum and having to deal with a unprofessional man leaving me in the lurch and not having the courtesy to contact me. What did this man think? That I could find another removal company just like that last minute!!
Up to now I 'he heard nothing back from him! Unbelievable
What kind of businessman is he?I've never experienced this before.
